February - March 2006 The winds and water of Katrina sent many New Orleanians to far away places, Felice’s parents among these. After months of living with family and friends in Louisiana, these two moved to Charleston to live near Hume, Felice, Chris, and Danielle. Fortune smiled on them as they found a perfect apartment on the Battery. This new home for the Viguerie family is perfect as there is plenty of space for out-of-town company. Since both are from large families, they know what to expect. Their days are spent enjoying walks on the Battery, visiting with people in White Point Gardens, Mom’s docent work at the Calhoun Mansion, and of course, helping out at Felice Designs. Most Mondays the voices you hear when calling the shop will be one of these Louisianians who love their new city as well as helping Felice in the shop. Stop by and say “hi” when you are on King Street. Mom |
