November 2005
On November 7th, 1975, a glass bead maker extraordinaire was born
in New Orleans, LA. Her parents should have known by the way her tiny
hands got into everything that Felice Lemoine Viguerie would ultimately
find her calling doing something that occupied her fingers. For most
of her childhood it was piano lessons and volleyball that kept those
hands moving. It wasn’t until sophomore year in high school
that she discovered her love for jewelry making. Felice’s husband, Hume, is also proud of his hard working wife. Gathering friends in their backyard on a Sunday afternoon, Hume pulled off a surprise party for the birthday girl. Munching on bar-b-que and cupcakes that looked like her glass beads, Felice’s 30 years of life and accomplishments were celebrated. Danielle Viguerie Ahern
