February 2005

A bittersweet moment in life is occurring today.  I am writing to you on the last day of January, which is also my last day at Felice Designs.  I have worked for my sister, Felice, for two and a half years and have loved every minute of it.  As we worked closely our bond as sisters has grown, and I think this has also fostered growth in the business.  We both think of Felice Designs as a precious, new born baby.  With precision and detail, we devote ourselves to the jewelry.  With our hearts we devote ourselves to our clients.  But, the time has come for me to move on.  I hate leaving Felice and Liza, however I know it is the right decision for me.  I also know I am leaving my job in good hands.  Our new employee, Lee Sanderlin is wonderful, and she will bring new life to the store!  A Felice Designs company dinner last Friday night at Cru Cafe was my "Bon Voyage" and Lee's "Bienvenue!"  Felice, Liza, Lee, and I as well as our husbands and fiances shared a wonderful night celebrating.  As co-workers and good friends we toasted each other and the future of the business.  I am sure that I will be present at many more company dinners...I might not be there every day in the flesh, but I will still think of Felice Designs as a child that I love. Danielle

Hello everyone!  My name is Lee Sanderlin and I recently have become a part of Felice Designs.  Though, I, myself, have grown quite attached to Danielle over the past two weeks of training, I look forward to knowing and meeting all of you very soon.  Felice Designs is a large, extended family of sorts, and I am so happy to have the opportunity to work with such a wonderful, close-knit community. Felice, Danielle, and Liza have all welcomed me with open arms and I can't thank Danielle enough for all of her patience as she has helped prepare me for my new role here!  I am anxious to begin getting more of a feel for everything, so please come in and visit me sometime this week.  I look forward to knowing each and every one of you!
