'Twas the night before Christmas
When all through The Big Easy
Every creature was stirring
Just to keep from freezing.

The temperature was dropping steadily all night.
Who knew that a New Orleans Christmas could be white?
The Vigueries weren't thrilled to have snow on the ground.
For a surprise guest wouldn't be able to fly to town.

Except for Danielle who knew not of the surprise plans.
She was elated to feel the snow hit her cheeks and fill her hands.
In DC, a deflated suitor's flight was cancelled, thus his plan delayed.
"Snow in Louisiana?" he sighed, "Boy, of all days."

However he was undeterred, and his resolve grew stronger.
For he had a ring in his pocket he couldn't hold onto much longer.

Wearing a Santa Suit, he arrived in N'awlins only two days late.
And headed to the Vigueries' having destiny to create.

At their doorstep arose such a clatter.
Danielle sprang from the table to see what was the matter.

A man in a Santa suit?  Who could that be?
As he drew closer, her heart skipped a beat.
For it was Chris in a red suit with a wig and a hat!
She lifted his beard, gave him a kiss, and sat on his lap.

The family gathered 'round, cameras flashed, and tears fell
As Chris Ahern Kringle dropped to one knee and proposed to Danielle!
