Besty's Wedding is the title of a movie I never saw. It is also the title of a file of pictures taken on the day of my best friend Betsy Hassinger's wedding. On June 26 the wedding party and family gathered at the Hassinger's house in New Orleans, LA for pictures, party sandwiches, and champagne. Other bridesmaids arrived with beautiful, chic pocket books full of lipstick and cell phones.

I, however, arrived with a hot pink camera bag and fingers itching to photograph the multitude of people wearing Felice Designs jewelry.

Betsy chose Blue and White Caterpillar One-Drop necklaces to match the wedgewood bridesmaids dresses. Her sisters Mary and Cathy wore the matching earrings as well.

I tried desperately to remain out of the way of the "real" photographer, but I had to get the bridesmaids, flower girls, and nieces to smile and show me their necks.

Getting the little ones to do it was slightly more difficult!

Everyone looked beautiful in their jewelry, but all eyes were on the bride. And don't worry, she ordered herself a necklace as well!
